Sex Therapy

Whether you are with a partner, multiple partners, or are single and trying to learn more about your sexual preferences or are experiencing sexual or relationship issues, like traditional psychotherapy, sex therapy can be a way to help you process your thoughts and emotions, free from judgment and shame.

  • Anxiety concerning sexual performance

  • Conflicts surrounding desire, lust, or love

  • Compulsive sexual behaviors

  • Difficulty getting or maintaining an erection

  • Exploration of sexual self (sexual orientation, BDSM/kink community, non-monogamy)

  • Guilt or shame associated with sexual dysfunctions

  • Infidelity

  • Lack of sexual enjoyment

  • Orgasm difficulties

  • Painful sex

  • Sexual phobias

  • Sexual trauma/PTSD

  • Sex/porn addiction

Individual Therapy

Compassion and self-acceptance can be the start of a healthy relationship with your sexual self. This can range from sex education to addressing concerns around sexual functioning. When it comes to relationship or intimacy issues, together we can challenge harmful, limiting beliefs, and identify the underlying patterns or causes connected to dissatisfaction in sexual or romantic relationships.

Couples Therapy

Relationships in all phases of life can benefit from therapeutic help. Life changes such as relationship milestones (moving in together, getting married), starting a new job, and aging can all cause issues within a relationship. In couple’s therapy, the couple will work together to learn how to effectively communicate about feelings, wants, desires, and find a new connection with their partner.
